Data for Decision Makers: An Overview of the One Shawnee Region
One Shawnee President, Patrick Windhorst, opened the summit with a presentation developed in partnership with Zach Kennedy, Community and Economic Development State Lead at the Illinois State Census Data Center
Quality of Life as an Economic Development Strategy
The keynote of the One Shawnee Summit was provided by Dr. Amanda Weinstein, Director of Research, Knowledge, & Evaluation at the Center on Rural Innovation (CORI)
Working Together Across the Region
Anne H. Silvis, Assistant Dean of Community and Economic Development at Illinois Extension, encouraged participants to "Work Together Across the Region" by utilizing an asset-based approach to planning, identifying and communicating shared goals.

Carol Hoffman with Southernmost Illinois Tourism Bureau discussed the "Shawnee Forest Country" digital magazine and encouraged local participants to reach out to the bureau with any tourism-related ideas they would like to discuss across the full One Shawnee Region
